Does your grocery/eating budget look impossible, but cooking at home feels like a chore? This ONE tip will save time, money, and your sanity!
Home DIY
Welcome to our home! I want to share it with you...not only the parts that the world deems beautiful, but the good, bad, and ugly! This is all in order to help you love your home more and have it live up to its highest current potential.
We have a rustic, country styled metal farmhouse with old and new items sprinkled throughout. It is filled with different things we have collected over the years in order to make our home a place we love to be, and a retreat from the rest of the worlds noise. In a chaotic world, we want to make our home a cozy hideaway that serves our family! You will see that we are not minimalists by any means but do desire a functional home that is also beautiful and maintained to the best of our ability.
Sometimes a big remodel might be in order to make your home work better for you, but only if it is within your budget. Remember, you don't have to have huge budget to do small updates, or even just rearrange for better daily function. It's not about how much you have, but how well you steward what you do have. I have found that with good stewardship, the better we take care of what the Lord has blessed us with, the more He trusts us with. With a little love, creativity, and a thankful heart, I believe anywhere your family lives can be made into a place you would be proud to call home.
My hope with this Home DIY section of Farmhouse 181 is that you are able to take some ideas and inspiration from home DIYs, decor, or other home products that are shared and use them to ignite a new love and passion for your own home!
